Titan Baseball Broadcast  

Baseball Titans are in action this weekend.  Friday night’s game features Madison Central and it’s Senior Night.  This game will be broadcast on WYAB.com beginning with the first pitch at 7:00 pm.   Saturday’s noon game with Brandon will be broadcast live on 103.9 and on the normal online platforms.  Saturday’s night game at Vicksburg beginning at 7:00 will only be broadcast on WYAB.com.  All broadcasts are weather dependent.

RHS Titans Basketball Camp
 
RHS Titans basketball camp is May 26-29 in the RHS gym
from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon.  The cost is $60 per camper. Click here for more information

Congratulations RHS Choir  

Congratulations to the Ridgeland High School Concert Choir who traveled this past weekend to Chicago, Illinois to compete in a national competition hosted by Heritage Performance Groups.

The RHS Concert Choir was awarded 1ST PLACE in the Concert Choir 2A/3A division. They received ALL-SUPERIOR scores from the 3 collegiate-level judges, warranting a Gold Award. 

Because of their all superior scores (Gold Award), the RHS Concert Choir has been INVITED to perform at Heritage Performance Groups’ Festival of Gold in CARNEGIE HALL during the 2016-2017 school year.

Thanks for showing the Chicago what it means to be a RHS Titan!

Congratulations also to Ms Rachel Upton, RHS Choir Director,  who was recently honored as Mississippi Music Educators Association’s Young Educator of the Year.

    2015 Summer Literacy Camp for English Language Learners (ELLs) - 21st Century Community Learning Center

     

    Grade Levels:  Pre-kindergarten through Grade 5

    Dates:  June 1 through June 26, 2015

    Time:  8 a.m. until 12 Noon (Monday - Friday)

    Location:  Highland Elementary School

    Transportation:  Provided by parents of ELLs

    This camp is for currently served ELLs who attend Madison County Schools.

    WIDA (World-Class Instructional Design and Assessment)  – April 9 through May 8

     

    The WIDA “ACCESS for ELLs” English language proficiency test is the test given annually during the month of April in Mississippi to measure English proficiency of English Language Learners. WIDA ACCESS is used to measure Annual Measurable Achievement Objectives (AMAO) 1 and 2, monitoring the progress of English language proficiency.  https://www.wida.us/
